have been exploring the Zero to Three Website. I followed an
outside link under military family project. I learn how Zero to
Three is focus on children of military. They have a course for
military family called Duty to Care- You Make a Difference (E- Learning Course).
It focus on three part Duty to Care- You Make a
Difference,
Buffering the
Stress of Deployment and Homecoming
and Buffering the Stress of a Parent’s Injury or Death each this
modules are 20 minute each. It also have section “Honoring
our Babies and Toddlers” under this link is booklet for military families.
“Honoring
our Babies and Toddlers” have three different booklet that exploring
issues like Supporting
Young Children Affected By a Military Parent's Injury,
Supporting
Young Children Affected By a Military Parent's Death
and Supporting Young
Children Affected By a Military Parent's Deployment, Injury, or
Death.
I
also learned that April is the month for Military Child. Zero to Three has two
video take support military families. Relationship Matter and You Make a
Difference both of these video give me insight on
military life and how it affect the children.
I
glad to see that Zero to Three website is focus on Military and their family
because they need all the support they can get.

I think that this is a great issue that needs to be addressed, and i am glad to see it being addressed. For me i don't know what its like to have a family member in the military. I have had friends who have and a friend who lost her brother and I know how hard it was on even just my friends. So having a father i can only imagine how hard that would be for them. Not having a father to watch them grow up and I can on;ly imagine would be so hard. I'm just happy to see something out there for these kids, they need all the help and support.
