  1. Raejean I find that save the children is a great resource for all of us. I too believe that every child deserves a strong start in life and that includes good health and an early education. Yet many babies and young children lack the early opportunities they need to lead healthy and successful lives. Save the Children, the preeminent voice for children, is heading to Capitol Hill on April 8 and 9 to call on our leaders to invest in children from the start. Many of my colleagues will be in attendance on those dates including myself. “Together we can help millions of children around the world escape preventable disease and death and help millions of children in the United States get the early education they need to succeed in school and life. By investing early, we are investing in the future. There's no better place to start than with our children”. It is important that we get involved. I advocate for children and so I would like to all of us take part. It’s going to take a village to do it.

  2. Raejean,
Yes, it is important to focus on what war does to children as well the adults involved. I am happy to hear that there is an organization that is helping bring this to light. Hopefully, with more attention, more resources will become available for the children.
