Advocacy Through Advertising

The message bring awareness about SIDS

This may be old fashion but putting your baby in a dresser draw is a safe place for the baby to sleep.

What wrong with this picture                             the right way for baby sleep in crib

Parents for your baby’s safety please don’t let them sleep with you.
This may be baby final resting Place
After reading over the information about how to reduce SIDS in babies.  I tried to create messages that was  powerful and make people think about where to put their baby to sleep.  Too many of our babies are dying because they are not being properly put in safe place .

  1. The safe sleep campaign is something that is very beneficial and something that I constantly push and advocate for children. Parents are sometimes unaware of the seriousness of safe sleep for their baby. I see pictures people post on social media and I can't help but say something and make a comment about a safer way to let the baby sleep.

There are even apps that have been created to keep up with this day and time.

  2. Reajean,
A great campaign! Teen moms need this information as they enter motherhood. We use "back to sleep"as our motto for our local area. I remember my cousin coming to stay with us and we did not have a crib for him at the time, my mom used a dresser drawer for him to sleep in so he could be safe and close to her.

  3. Reajean,
Indeed great campaign.Society tends to have the "old school" way of thinking when it comes to practices with children especially with infants. For example, parents would want an older teacher" grandmother type age" to be in the infant classroom due to their way of thinking this individual has more experience than a younger teacher. In order to cut down the case of SIDS we all must educate everyone in society.
